The Event Community is a directory connecting you to creative professionals in the event industry. In other words, we help you find anything (or anyone) you need to plan an event and more. Find them with The Event Community!

Why We Do It: We Support Small Businesses

We put our focus on supporting small businesses. Our community has a burning passion for events, and we want to make sure that every business has an equal opportunity to be seen and found. In everything that we do, we aim to empower our small businesses and small business owners by building a space that fosters growth, innovation, inspiration, and…of course, community over competition.  

Share Our Story with Others

In 2020, we realized that small businesses in events needed a platform where they could easily be found. With a new surge of home based entrepreneurs that turned their 2020 side gigs into fully functional businesses, it was the perfect time for us to take initiative! On August 8, 2020, we launched our platform on Instagram and quickly received an incredible amount of support. Although we began on Instagram, we knew from the start that an online directory would be the best way for people to research and navigate through our platform. After many months on the drawing board, we hope that our new directory not only makes it easier for people to plan their celebrations, but also changes the way that event professionals can connect with each other. The Event Community is a startup company, so we are continuously growing, improving, and expanding our services. Currently, we are serving businesses based in Southern California, so if you are located elsewhere, please hang tight!
